Energy Security

Globalisation took a hit during the Global Financial Crisis with emerging markets appearing to be more focused on their own energy security, pursuing a green economy on the back of their own energy sources, rather than using climate change as a reason to do so.

As a case in point, Brazil now generates over 50% of its energy needs from renewable sources, primarily Ethanol and Hydro with over nine million gasoline vehicles operating on varying Ethanol mixtures. They are concerned with finding more uses for their own energy rather than rely on the currently imported fossil fuel variants.

At E-CoFueling, our mission is to provide energy security solutions for Diesel engines, whether for transportation, agriculture, mining or power generation.

Today's green economy realizes that a greener planet requires renewable energy options that reduce fossil fuels, increase efficiencies and lessen the impact of emissions, without competing against food. Then add the cost to build / buy new vs. rehabilitate or enhance an existing asset equation.

In context, the Diesel engine continues to prove itself as the world's preferred choice for numerous on- and off-road applications and for the foreseeable future, compared to alternatives, they will remain.
